Product Description:  Rarely do I get excited about a new homebrewing product release but this one captured my interest! The Blichmann Hellfire home brewing burner is the first innovation that I have seen in homebrew gas burners in several years. The Blichmann Hellfire burner is efficient, fast, versatile, dependable and beautiful! This is Blichmann’s newest burner is appropriately named HellFire because of the massive BTU’s that this home brewing burner is capable of putting out. Perhaps what I like best about this new Blichmann Hell Fire burner is its dual mode burner design that give a home brewer the option of running in an efficiency mode at 80,000 BTUs to maintain a rolling boil up to 20 gallons or in a high heat mode that will run at 140,000 BTUs which is perfect for getting that boil going in no time. Anything that will save me time in a brew session is valuable and there is a great deal of time wasted waiting for water to reach mash and boil temperature. The Blichmann HellFire burner also includes a heat shield to prevent the massive amount of heat from scorching your valve, thermometer and sight glass while directing it to your wort.  The HellFire stand burner bolts right up to our TopTier Modular Brewing Stand if you want to integrate it with your other Blichmann home brewing equipment or can be used independently. Lastly, the stainless steel construction of this burner is a big plus. Stainless steel is the ultimate home brewing material, especially when it comes to burners and kettles. Metals like aluminum, tin and galvanized steel can put out toxic fumes, but stainless steel is fume free and will last a lifetime if cared for!

Per Blichmann’s website, there are a number of manufacturers that are claiming wildly high power outputs on their homebrewing burners, but Blichmann Engineering tests their burners BTU’s and stand behind their numbers. They tested a popular homebrewing burner, the Bayou Classic has a published rating of 180 KBTU / hour but Blichmann tested the output and it only measured at 68 KBTU / hour.

This is a professional quality jacketed stainless fermenter that is made in Germany by Speidel home brewing. Some background on Speidel, they are a 5th generation family owned, manufacturer of professional quality beer brewing fermenters and brewing equipment.  This brand new jacketed homebrew conical is made from 304 stainless steel with an featured a 60 degree cone for harvesting yeast and trub collection. It has a large top hatch that makes cleaning and adding hops or oak a simple task. The inside is finished to Speidel quality standards with a high polish and the bottom drain and racking port fittings are 1.5″ Tri-Clamp for easy cleaning, transfers and a sanitary environment. Most impressive is that this Braumeister home brewing fermenter is equipped with a jacket that covers all accessible areas of the tank. This is special because it allows you to hook the conical fermenter into a cooling system for complete temperature control! As we know, you need to maintain an ideal fermentation temperature to make the best beer possible and this makes it simple to ferment a large batch of homebrew will still regulating temperature in a sanitary manner.  The jacket is rated for a pressure at over 80 psi which is key when connecting to some commercial glycol systems that generate high pressure.  These are well built and high end conical fermenters and feature 1.5 inch tri-clamp outlets, 1 on bottom for complete drainage, one in middle for racking arm and one on top for blowoff or airlock.There are also two welded fittings which are equipped with a sample valve and thermowell / thermometer combination.
